Mrs Hammond welcomed member Yvonne Ogg, who assisted by Sheila Walker, was our speaker for the evening. Yvonne introduced herself and spoke about the wonderful array of Christmas papers, samples and craft equipment which she had brought. She demonstrated the art of producing a decoration in the shape of a bauble which could be hung on the tree, a garland or in the window and told us of the many variations which could be produced by using embossed papers, stamped pictures and cut outs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed hour and a splendid display of decorations resulted from their efforts.
